On February 7th, the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), a governmental institution, wrote on their Facebook page stating that four more investment projects totaling to $34.03 million were approved by the CDC. The four projects will create 1654 jobs for Cambodian people.
According to the CDC, ZHONGQI LIHUI CABLE company is investing $20.1 million to build a factory to produce electrical cable in the special economic zone in Kratie Province. The factory will create 439 jobs.
TUBAO (CAMBODIA) DECORATION MATERIAL company is investing $1.5 million to build a factory to produce plywood and plank in the special economic zone in Sihanoukville province. The factory will create 100 jobs.
FASHION HOUSEWARE (CAMBODIA) company is investing $10 million to build a factory to produce a variety of housewares, Christmas decoration, and pieces of sewing machine in the special economic zone in Sihanoukville province. The factory will create 464 jobs.
WINTIME (CAMBODIA) company is investing around $2.43 million to build a factory to produce Christmas tree, Christmas decoration, and Christmas lamp the special economic zone in Svay Rieng province. The factory will create 651 jobs.
